...I really like the glass on fins; man, I even make em! as you see in most pictures; but for the fellas that want a fin system, in my opinion, this is the best, for several reasons so couple years ago I talked with D Geraghty (shaper and owner of this brand) and bought some, then few months ago I decided to import a bunch of them.
I have been putting this system on a few custom boards and on surf shops orders.

Hello, Im very disappointed about these GOOGLE politics of turn everybody for the same kind of funnel.
Blogger in the past was a nice place and somewhat free of "webs" or politics from the megacorps then changed a bit and they tried to "reclute" in some way but now really force us to have all these crapy virtual things, if not, you cannot enter your "own" blog.
I have been flying under their radar until now, so I barely could enter here to post..

I do not know if I will continue posting here...we ll see.

for ex.: I had a problem with a rebuild of the gearbox of one of the British motorcycles that I got. The 4th gear jump out, so I did all the tear down again (foot rest, pipes, primary cover, clutch, covers, sprocket and the complete gearbox) to see what goes wrong...

-This is a mini egg with more tail area that what normally I shape; plenty of tail rocker and kick tail, normal entry rocker; flat deck and flat bottom, not too much meat but maintining it in the back foot area and due to flat deck, to the rails. Main fins bigger than rears; foiled 20/80%, 1/4 max thickness, 33º rake, Etc.
Gloss on top and rails, speed finish bottom. Acid splash color work and airbrush
Very loose egg.

I finished this one last week but I had some problems with the cameras.
well, this is for a gal. I did a more user friendly board for her. The girl wanted a contemporary shortboard...for smaller days...anyway,
Many aspects of the design taken into account her leg strenght and back foot size. Reduced the length, keeping the wide, put more meat under chest; reduced the tail area a lot, reduced the tail thickness; reduced fins size.
The color idea and design was done exactly in the same way that she told me
-speed finish, 2x 4oz top and 1 4oz bottom

...I spent many hours with these colors.
1992 was the last time one of my boards had a space theme. I had a guy who painted with brushes, that was inspired (I think) in Worthington´s art but with space and galaxies. He finished all those paint works with a very small Knight on a horse down the tail bottom.

...I did this board for a customer who wanted more take off, better paddling action, and a more solid feeling.
The planshape has a fuller nose and the foil maintain the meat under the chest and to the back foot; one stage moderate rocker with tail kick; the side fins are bigger and swept back, back fin is smaller and with other shape; less cant and toe in than previous board, different foil depth and flex; keep the foam to near the rails; diamond tail to short a bit the outline and provide a pivot point.

...this one sports a slim outline compared with what I use to shape. Its got a straight outline planshape between nose and tail. Some specs are what the client wanted. Im not totally sure if those are super functional...normally try to not decide for the customer, so I gave him some possibilities, some do s and don t s, then he made the choices.
The guy is a big one (92 Kg, 1.82m) and he rides with small boards always. He s a lifeguard so has training.

...well, finally get the pictures of this board that I made last year. I did it to send to the 2008 Sacred Craft show but unforeseen events let it outside..
anyway, this board is roughly based on the air induction concept of 1 of the 3 Morey s early 70s prototypes and after some mails with B Mckee and 1 with G Loehr, I decided to made it.
sports: HYDROSLOTS; flat and S deck; normal entry rocker for a fish but heavy rockered in the last 2´, kick tail too; 60/40s rails extremely tapered out to tail; concave bottom channel fading out in the same line of the front fins; "2 in 4" speed d fins, well, i do these rear modificated fins to half of the fishes and work better backhand than the cqc normal ones.
2 4oz Aerialite fiberglass on top and 1 on the bottom; gloss coat deck, speed finish/bit of gloss on the bottom.
this is the most modern contemporary fish that I did and like may be some of you just saw, follow the concept of my tail area design
