All boards are 100% handcrafted since mid ´80s by one person from start to finish; including silk screening, fins and everything in between. Only functional tested shapes not trendy boards on works. The norm is to discontinue the templates that do not perform as expected.

Does leash plug placement matter? Am I wrong to think it is harder to pull out the leash plug if it's on the stringer than somewhere else on the tail?
...I try to avoid to do a hole in the stringer...
then you have only (thin tails) 2mm or so of wood to support all the tail
also, for the stringer "runs" or is distributed the forces that you give to the board
check: put the board in the floor and punch (slightly)the bottom with your palm
yeah, its lively
--I didnt have a problem placing the plug in the foam
dont have the characteristics of the fins plugs for ex
--the distance is important
consider the rail savers lenght and the rope or string
