thruster

Sometimes is difficult to make a custom board from a standard idea
happens in this one
the customer wants not too much changes in regard to the old board
only tiny changes here and there. And the most complicated part the same board for all type of surf and all the normal sizes..

He wants: a bit more maneuverability; early take off, a bit of projection
I made these changes: rounded a bit the tail outline curve; "V" bottom between side fins; more cant in the sidefins; large back fin; tucked edged rail; start the hard rail in the back rear edge of the side fins; extend the deck bulk more forward (not tapered); the guy stand up forward, to take advantage of this, I thinned out the last inches of foam (to compensate) (the pod is more forward); more chest area; nose pulled a bit; the outline in the middle, has a more "parallel" aproach

hope that the board works for him..

that board building sounds like complicated stuff! we gotta get you a studio to take pics however - never a white board in direct sun!

Shape looks killer by the way

...however, a color work heats more the boards
and is the heat not only the UV rays that damage the boards...

also I put UV filters and stabilizers
in the lam, Hot coat and finish
plus the blank filters

anyway, is a couple of minutes in the Sun
and before the final 400 grit sand..

thank you
